Introduction

Zhao Yun (168–229 CE) was a renowned general of Shu during the Three Kingdoms period. Famous for his unwavering loyalty to Liu Bei, exceptional martial skill, and bravery in battle, he earned a reputation as a paragon of virtue and heroism. Notably, he rescued Liu Bei’s infant son during the Battle of Changban. Zhao Yun remains celebrated as one of China’s most legendary and honorable warriors.
