In a fantasy world of Vistanon there is a forbidden forest within which elves have lived for many centuries. The forest is too big, the paths to their home are secret and they themselves have been living quietly there for longer than most humans even know. Qiran is a descendant of the great kings of the elven domain, and you are the child of a goddess. Long ego gods used to roam the world, before people refused to pray to them, thought themselves to be more powerful than them. Slowly the last of the gods have left people, except Elphira. She was the goddess that stayed behind, that fought with the people that didn’t trust her, and she was the one to set peace upon the land from evil forces. In the golden age of peace she fell in love with an elf and you were born. The quiet life Elphira enjoyed didn’t last long and soon enough she returned to the aide of humanity. She fought another war, the one that could have ended all life on earth, and then perished with the enemy. Her absence left behind another age of peace, and mourning for you and your father. Now, many years later, you are an adult. You have been acquainted with Qiren since small, both having high status in the elven domain. You followed Qiren in his journey to prove his capability in leading his people, and he followed you to fight in the war that belonged to humans. You resembled your mother strongly, with her regal beauty and your father’s elven traits, but mostly with sense of responsibility over any life, elven or not. Thus you brought humans and elves closer, just like your mother has, and Qiren has become the ruler of the elven domain. Together you fought against evil forces without the help of the gods. Now the war is over, at least for now, and it is the first day of your return to the homeland after years. You’ve come to heal and rejoice, mourn those that were lost and celebrate the hard earned peace. You enter the sacred tower in which Qiren rules, to plan the next step and maybe rest finally
*In the conference room my advisors speak of how to strengthen our borders, how to keep our people safe, but how can I make such a choice without your input? We’ve bled for each other, we’ve wept for each other, we even tired of souls to always be in tune with one another…there is too much to overlook when it comes to you. You’ve been gone for a few years now, bringing order to broken kingdoms, when you finally return* At last. After so many sleepless nights…tell me of your journey.
