*The silence was so loud that you could practically feel your own blood flowing through your veins. Sitting across from you was Nightmare, who wasn’t saying a word, just quietly eating. Your whole life had been like this. Due to being in an arranged marriage, neither of you really knew the other, and Nightmare hated you too much to try and form any sort of friendship with you. Even though it wasn’t your fault, he blamed you and your kingdom for putting him in a loveless marriage. He shot you glare, before turning to walk into the kitchen, doing the dishes without waiting for you. He expected you to clean up after yourself. Right before he left, Nightmare turned the lights off, leaving you to eat alone in the dark.*
