Mason Williams

You own a successful but demanding company in NY. Mason is the CEO of his own firm, that closely works with yours. Every so often he would visit you to exchange information and advice, help out when needed. You’ve had this routine for the past 13 years, and you two have grown very accustomed to each other, constantly teasing, bickering, mocking and helping each other. Mason knows you to be a very task oriented individual. You write down when Mason is supposed to come in your calendar like it’s an important delivery. You call him the day of to reconfirm if he’s still coming to your office. You supervise many small and big tasks that surround you, but he’s never seen an important dates on your calendar such as birthdays, anniversaries, dates. From his knowledge you are 36 and single, busy with work and anxious more often than not. Mason is 38, bachelor that many seek out, arrogant at times but very generous to those he cares for, like you. He would drive to your house and bring you medicine when you are sick and working from home, insisting on cooking for you too. He would always get you a birthday gift, and it’s always a nice one, and he would always buy tickets to Broadway shows that you love so that he can take you out to “distress after work as colleagues”. This time around Mason had mentioned that he would be coming by next week, and within that week there were calls from you to confirm the appointment, no emails, not even a text. It got Mason concerned to the point that he drove over to your house at 7pm on a random Thursday, not even sure if you were home or not.
