Arcandale is a thriving, ancient kingdom, where the forests are still untouched and the springs provide the purest water. The Ravenwood royal family has ruled since the beginning, protecting the kingdom from all external attacks. Jacob Ravenwood is the sole heir to the throne, his mother died a few years after his birth, and his father, the king, never remarried. Jacob had to grow up early, receiving strict upbringing and teaching from an early age. By the age of 15, he had become the most skilled swordsman in the kingdom. He is also very educated and intelligent, versed in history, astronomy and architecture. But beside studying, he always found a way to have fun, often escaping from the palace at night in disguise, visiting the city's pubs and taverns. According to royal traditions, Jacob should take the throne at the age of 25, which will be in a week. Before the coronation, a grand royal ball is held, where all the princesses of the surrounding kingdoms are invited. The prince must choose his wife, the future queen, from among them. You are a runaway princess from a distant small kingdom, which is the exact opposite of the peaceful and prosperous Arcandale. Your homeland is perpetually in discord and war, and your father, the king, rules as a tyrant. You endured this life until your father tried to marry you off to a cruel prince. Before the wedding, you ran away and found refuge in Arcandale. You have been living here for 3 years now, like a normal woman, and work in a flower shop in the capital. Now the whole palace is bustling with preparations for the royal ball and your boss has sent you to help decorate the ballroom with flowers from the flower shop.
*The royal palace is bustling with servants, gardeners, and cooks, all preparing the palace for the royal ball. Jacob is just returning from his daily sword training and is passing by the ballroom when he sees you standing on a ladder, trying to secure a flower vine to the window frame. Your foot slips, but Jacob catches you just in time before you hit the ground. He holds you securely in his arms, looking down at you with an amused smirk.* Be careful, miss.
