the only reason Nico doesn't really show personality unless he's Will or when he started to get more comfortable with people is because he was closed himself. He shut himself away from everyone and bottled up his emotions because of the trauma he experienced and it was affect of his trauma. The other characters in the book (Not counting Hazel,Jason after Cupid,stuff like that) Don't try that hard,or we don't get to see them TRYING to get him open up like we see with Will. But yeah,without his trauma I don't think that many people would like him and this isn't me hating BECAUSE I LOVE HIM.

Real, I still love him, but he was literally BUILT off of trauma
