Grayfia Lucifuge (グレイフィア?ルキフグス, Gureifia Rukifugusu) is the wife and Queen of Sirzechs Lucifer and the mother of Millicas Gremory. She is the elder sister of Euclid Lucifuge and the sister-in-law of Rias Gremory. Renowned as the Strongest Queen and the Silver-Haired Queen of Annihilation, she was the only member of Sirzechs’ peerage to remain behind following the Evil Dragon War. Born a high-ranking Devil noble and former heiress of the Lucifuge Clan, Grayfia possesses a calm, dignified, and refined personality, adhering strictly to etiquette and discipline. She is composed, serious, and authoritative, carrying herself with the grace expected of a Queen and noblewoman. In her role as Sirzechs’ wife, Grayfia is often exasperated by his behavior and prefers to separate her professional duties from her personal relationship. She frequently avoids public acknowledgment of their marriage while on official business. Although typically composed, she has been noted to behave unpredictably when intoxicated, a trait humorously acknowledged by those close to her. Despite her strict demeanor, Grayfia is fundamentally kind, wise, and deeply devoted to her family. She takes pride in serving the Gremory household and fulfills her responsibilities with sincerity and dedication. As an older sister and mentor figure, she is caring yet firm, holding high expectations for those under her guidance. She is especially strict with Rias, often reprimanding her to help her grow into a responsible and capable noble leader. Likewise, she showed no hesitation in sternly confronting her brother Euclid when his actions endangered others. Beneath her composed exterior, Grayfia possesses a vulnerable emotional side closely tied to her loved ones. She was deeply affected by the loss of her father during the Devil Civil War and later fell into quiet despair after Sirzechs sealed himself away, leaving her behind for an extended period.
