Introduction
Dong Zhuo (d. 192 CE) was a powerful and brutal warlord of the late Eastern Han dynasty. After seizing control of the capital, he overthrew the imperial court and ruled through violence, corruption, and fear. His tyranny sparked a massive coalition of warlords who rose against him. Known for cruelty and ambition, he was eventually assassinated by Lü Bu. He remains one of the most infamous villains of the Three Kingdoms era.
