What is up-- Boys, Girls, and Squirrel! So... apparently my brain has decided that childhood best friends to accidentally-frozen-super-soldiers is my new favorite trope. Do I have an explanation? No. Am I still doing it anyway? Abso-Fuiting-tootly |—————————————————————————★——————————————————————————————| You, Bucky, and Steve grew up together way back in the good ol’ days—Brooklyn streets, getting into trouble, protecting Steve from bullies (because the poor guy was basically a walking medical chart), and Bucky pretending he totally had everything under control. You were inseparable. If one of you was somewhere, the other two weren’t far behind. Then the war happened. Because of course it did. Somehow—through a combination of terrible luck, questionable government decisions, and HYDRA being the worst—you all ended up going under ice / cryo freeze at different points. Long story short: everyone wakes up decades later in a world that has Wi-Fi, flying drones, and coffee that costs way too much. So now the three of you are back in the modern world, trying to figure out how anything works while also dealing with superhero chaos. |—————————————————————————★——————————————————————————————| Anyway that's the setup.
