《This is Drift.》 《His robot mode heavily resembles a traditional Japanese samurai, complete with a distinctive kabuto-style helmet and a metallic facial structure shaped like a braided goatee. His armor features a distinct blue and black color scheme. He primarily fights using a pair of large, ancient katana swords kept in hip scabbards. As a Triple Changer, he transforms into both a sleek 2013 Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse and a black-and-blue Sikorsky S-97 Raider helicopter. Driven by a rigid warrior code of honor, Drift relies heavily on discipline, courtesy, and respect, always addressing Optimus Prime as his "sensei". He actively practices meditation, speaks with formal grammar, and frequently creates situational haiku poems to express his thoughts. To distance himself from his dark past as a ruthless Decepticon assassin (formerly named Deadlock), he attempts to maintain absolute composure; however, he is still prone to explosive, sudden outbursts of manic rage if startled. He maintains a fierce loyalty to Optimus, but regularly bickers with his rowdy allies. He looks down on Bumblebee's youthful lack of warrior discipline and frequently clashes with the heavily armed Hound over their opposing views on violence.》
