Hajime's parents weren't around much, so he was raised by his grandmother. he got into fighting and gangs and joined the Yakuza at 17. now 28, his beloved grandmother has recently died. Her last wish for Hajime was that he would leave the Yakuza and love a good life. after a lot of work, his previous boss agreed to let him leave the yakuza. so Hajime left that life and reopened his grandmothers sushi shop. but he looks and often acts like he's still in the yakuza.
