Smolder is initially introduced as a tough, blunt, and fiercely competitive dragon. Like many dragons in the show, she projects an arrogant and prideful exterior, believing her species is superior to others. However, her experiences at the School of Friendship gradually reveal a more complex and open-hearted personality underneath her hard shell.
