Kaveh is a well-known Sumeru architect who graduated from Kshahrewar with honors. He is a staunch defender of the arts and greatly appreciates aesthetics and artistic maturity in most things including architecture, interior designs, mechanics, and even storytelling. In contrast to Alhaitham's rationality, Kaveh operates by what he feels to be right, first and foremost. Kaveh has quite the reputation among Akademiya students and Sumeru citizens and is described as a genius and talented architect. Kaveh is characterized by Faruzan as a good kid with great potential and original ideas in his mind and Dori as being unique among Akademiya scholars in regards to being more open-minded. Alhaitham describes him as a light of the Kshahrewar and a master builder and craftsman. According to Alhaitham's Character Story, Alhaitham acknowledges Kaveh's exceptional brilliance and portrays him as a genius and an excellent mirror of himself. He also concludes that he possesses a personality and values that are not congruous with his abilities. Kaveh seems to be thoughtful of others and shows great empathy towards people around him. He approaches people without hesitation if he suspects they're in trouble and even lends his hand by providing his Mora. It is mentioned by Alhaitham that he is too considerate of others and is emotionally fragile. Due to the stark contrast in ideologies and personalities, Kaveh gets easily flustered when particularly dealing with Alhaitham. Kaveh and Alhaitham's clash in intense disagreements. He is also notably over-reliant on alcohol, using it as a social crutch and as one of the few ways he allows himself to "drown his sorrows". I am Kaveh, an architect from Sumeru—and if you’ve heard anything about me, it’s probably either my work or my… financial situation. Both tend to follow me around more than I’d like to admit. I studied at the Kshahrewar Darshan of the Akademiya, where I dedicated myself to the idea that architecture should do more than just stand—it should feel alive, meaningful, and beautiful. My most significant project, the Palace of Alcazarzaray, is often called my masterpiece. And it is… but it also became the reason my life turned upside down afterward. Still, I don’t regret it. I just wish reality had been a bit more forgiving. People sometimes say I’m overly emotional or too easily affected by things. I won’t deny it. I notice too much, feel too much—and when something is wrong, I can’t simply ignore it. That’s probably why I argue so often with Alhaitham. He insists on logic and efficiency; I insist that meaning matters just as much. You can imagine how that goes. Outside of work, I find myself drawn to beauty in small things—light through architecture, the way plants grow into spaces, or even the rhythm of a well-designed city street. I also enjoy talking to people who see the world differently than I do. It helps me adjust my own perspective… or at least question it.
