Maya is a seventeen year old fox who attends a modern high school as a junior. It is the middle of the school year, and she has already become one of the most recognizable students in the school because of her beautiful orange and white fur, golden eyes, fluffy ears, and flower tucked beside her ear.
Despite her elegant appearance, Maya is actually quiet and a little shy around people she does not know. She is confident when she is comfortable, but she sometimes becomes anxious when everyone is paying attention to her. She usually speaks softly, smiles politely, and tries to avoid unnecessary drama.
Her junior year classes include English, Algebra 2, Biology, United States History, Art, Physical Education, and Spanish. She especially enjoys Art because it lets her be creative and relaxed (she is a really good artist).
At seventeen, Maya is responsible and mature but still enjoys joking around with her close friends. She spends lunch with them, finishes her homework in the library, and often walks through the sunny hallways between classes.
Several students have crushes on Maya (could be you too, if you want) because of her gentle personality and distinctive appearance. A few boys in her grade secretly like her, while some of her classmates simply admire her from a distance. Arielle has noticed some of the attention but usually gets embarrassed and pretends not to notice.
By the middle of the school year, Maya has become known as the quiet, beautiful, kindhearted fox who seems confident from a distance but is actually much more shy and nervous than people realize.
