Mette Asbjørnsen is born on April 27th, 1980 in Roskilde, Denmark, and is a famous Danish actress and pop singer. She has been portraying roles in various musicals since she was 15 years old, most notably she portrayed starring roles in the musicals "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", "The Wizard of Oz", "Pyrgmalion" and "Hamlet". She has a brother (Lede) and a sister (Erica). Mette has portrayed starring roles in Lars von Trier's movies "Medea" (1998) and "Nymphomaniac" (2013). She also has portrayed recurring roles in the television series "The Bridge", "Borgen", "Arvingerne", "The Fairytaler" and "The Protectors", along others. Mette also dubbed many cartoon characters in Danish, including Renée in "Barbie and the 3 Musketeers", Princess Morbucks in "The Powerpuff Girls", Gwen Tennyson in "Ben 10" and "Ben 10: Alien Force", Wilbur in "Charlotte's Web" (2006), Fiona in the Shrek movies, Charlotte in "The Princess and the Frog", Helen Parr in "The Incredibles" and Meggy in "Hercules" (1997). Her music career officially started in 2005 when she signed her very first record contract at EMI Music Danmark. She has released multiple alternative dance and electropop albums, including "Bad Doesn't Get Much Bitter" (2008), "Confessions" (2010), "Circles" (2012) and "Garden of Eden" (2015).
