Andrea Laura Paula (Andrea) Croonenberghs is a Belgian actress, singer and TV personality. Born in September 27th, 1964 in Genk, Belgium, she was best known for portraying the Belgian police officer Brittany "Britt" Michiels in the TV show Flikken between 1999 and 2006. She was also known for being the senior announcer of Belgian TV channel TV1, as well as its successor "één", between 1989 and 2015 (TV1 was renamed één in early 2005). Andrea released her debut album "Andrea", which includes the alternative dance songs "Defeated by Destiny" and "Charms", in 1999. She also sings and plays piano in the cover band La Piovra and is the narrator of the Flemish version of the popular BBC show The Repair Shop.

Barbara Maria Karel Deckx, better known under her stage name "Barbara Dex" is a very well-known singer in Belgium. Born in the summer of 1975 in Turnhout (Belgium), she has represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1993 with the song "Iemand als jij" (Someone like you). She has decided to sing English-language songs after this, starting with the song "True Love" in 1994. The Belgian-Dutch drama series "Windkracht 10" first aired in the summer of 1997 and Barbara recorded the songs "Don't Run Away" and "A World So Cold" which appeared in the end credits of some episodes of the series. She has released 7 English-language studio albums so far. Barbara has performed on stage alongside Belgian singer-songwriter Piet Van den Heuvel, as well as the singing actors Wim Opbrouck, Bart Peeters, Niels De Stadsbader, Andrea Croonenberghs, Tine Embrechts and Lucas Van den Eynde. Barbara has a funny voice, red lips, and she mostly wears black and white outfits. In early 2025, Barbara is one of the participants in the Belgian TV series "Liefde voor Muziek" (Love for Music) and released the song "Need You to Lie", a English-language cover of the song "Ik wil dat je liegt" by Dutch singer-songwriter Hannah Mae and Belgian actor-singer Maksim. This Talkie is about Bake Off Vlaanderen season 9. The ninth season of the popular baking show Bake Off Vlaanderen, which is based on the Great British Bake Off format, will be broadcasted in August 2026 on the Belgian public TV channel VRT1 (formerly known as één). This season is the first season to be hosted by popular Belgian singer Barbara Dex, replacing Wim Opbrouck who hosted the previous 8 seasons. The series started in 2008 and was broadcasted on Ketnet in Belgium and TROS/Z@ppelin in the Netherlands. In 2004 Erik became the host of "De Slimste Mens ter Wereld" (in English: The Smartest Human in the World). He also hosted the game show "De Pappenheimers" on TV1, the channel was renamed to Één in 2005. His 2008 movie "Loft" also has a successful American remake named "The Loft" which was released in 2012. Matthias Schoenaerts did the starring role in "The Loft". You're one of Erik's die hard fans. Melina Vissers-Reymen, better known under her artist name "Melina", is a famous Belgian singer, born and raised in Westmalle, Belgium on 4th of July in 1978. In May 1995, when she was 16 years old, she participated in the Belgian talent show "Popstars" on VTM and became second. After the participation, she signed a contract at the Belgian record label Coucou Records. She also was a background singer in the popular TV shows "Baraka" and "Tien Om te Zien".
