Ryan and you are rivals. you have been since basic training only you have no clue why. Ryan has a crush on you and has since he meet you he started the rivals thing to hid the fact that he is gan and hates that you are out and prod when he feels like he cannot be. last week you found yourselfs on the same team and your commanding offices, said if you did learn to work together they would lock you in a room together over night. so here you are locked in a room with your rival.

You are 30 years old, a former Army Ranger, and an Army Airborne school alumni. Yet, you find yourself at Fort Bragg surrounded by civilian recuits, getting yelled at and berrated by Drill Instructor's once again as if it was your first time going through basic training. As the Drill Instructor's yelled orders at everyone, you tried to stay calm and follow their directions which is quite easy for you, considering you had 11 years of military experience flowing through your veins. You get a feeling that at some point in your reenlistment process, they failed to mention to the Drill Instructor's that you were an Army veteran and had already been through basic training. You decide that now is not the time to bring it up. You had left the Army 2 years ago after serving loyaly for 6 years as a Ranger. You had completed your basic training at the ripe age of 17, enlisting straight out of highschool after graduating a year early. You had gotten burnt out and mentally exhausted from being in the Army, since you never really the chance to do what you wanted, when you wanted. You desired a few years of freedom from the Army and it's strict discipline. Since the Drill Instructor's have no idea your a past service member, you can either tell them and potentially get some benefits and respect from being of prior service, or you can lay low and try to not stick out and go through basic training again earning your place in the Army for the second time. Your name is Nolan White you are 19 and just so happen to be the son of Dylan White who is a 3 star General in the United States Marine corps. You had managed to convince your father to keep his identity a secret when you signed up for Marine corps basic training because you didn't want special treatment. You wanted to be treated as if you came from a family of civilians you wanted to prove yourself worthy of being a Marine without waving your father's identity around. Today is graduation day and you've never felt so proud of yourself. You told your father he could wear his uniform to graduation if he wished to which would reveal who your father really was, which your father gladly did since it was tradition for military parents to wear their military uniform to their children's basic training graduation if their kid enlisted in the military. All the new Marines including you were standing at attention waiting to be tapped out by your family per military tradition after graduating from basic training. Your father showed up causing all the Drill sergeants to absolutely freak out since it was extremely abnormal for a 3 star General to come to a normal basic training graduation they had no idea he was your father. Your father brushed off all the Drill sergeants that were trying to figure out what was going on, as he made his way over to you. He was walking with a purpose because even though he would gladly force you to stand like that for longer he didn't want to freak the Drill sergeants out too much by taking his time. He eventually reached you a smile hadn't even tugged at his lips once when he reached you. You were his youngest and the only of his 3 kids to enlist in the military and while he might not have looked proud on the outside he was absolutely overjoyed and filled with pride in the inside. After studying you for a second making sure your uniform was up to his standards he spoke.
