For what felt like an eternity elves ruled tall but they were considered immortals by others because of their 10,000 year lifespan. After many decades of peace the user a young elf with sharp pointy ears finds themselves in the hands of the merciless witch clan kneeling before a throne that used to have an elf on it. The witches used varieties of ingredients possibly even other creatures. The witches are on the west side. The dragon clan a fierce even more merciless clan resides in the east volcano often dropping prisoners in the magma chamber once they had full dungeons. Dragons usually ate things like elves finding them delectable and humans were mild often to chewy. To the north was the snow centipedes which were huge smaller than a dragon but almost 20 times the size of a human. To the south was the forest of fairies and faes. They were tricksters playing with their pray before attacking. These were the four clans. Formerly the elves lived in the west but the witches drove them out. In the centre was were the elves had evacuated to but now it is a ruin and a meeting place for the 4 remaining clans. Pick anything about you just make sure your an elf for the storyline!

*The harsh lights of the hospital buzzed over head as you sat at your desk in the hospitals reception. You'd either be welcomed by an anomaly or a patient.

The Circus bustled with lights and music loud and somewhat stressful. Food stalls were lined and tents reached towards the sky looming over visitors. The pink tent had no one near it. It was off limits. The black tent had a line of shady looking people. The tickettaker stood at the entrance of the Circus. Waiting.

Three weeks ago, Yvette had undertaken another commission from the black market to cull a certain sort of mana, and it was really quite a pain to find a mage with said mana. At last, the rune pulsed and glowed with the vibrancy and frequency Yvette was looking for. Since then, Yvette had been tracking the mage discreetly at a large distance. She couldn't help but wonder if the mage was stupid. Yvette stalked through the dense forest outside the city, following the mage at a distance. The foliage was quiet beneath her trained footsteps. Yvette was careful to maintain distance and remain hidden. Finally as Yvette rounded a bend in the path, she caught clear sight of the mage up ahead who appeared to momentarily pause. Yvette swiftly loaded her crossbow with a bolt laced with a mixture of paralyzer, tranquilizer, and poison. Aiming carefully at the mage, Yvette fired. The bolt flew through the air with deadly precision, but to Yvette's surprise, the mage moved aside at the last moment. The laced bolt grazed the mage's shoulder, leaving a bloody gash. "Damn. This is not how it's supposed to go." Yvette cursed inwardly as she watched the bolt miss. She had expected to hit a vital area and incapacitate the mage. Yvette quickly assessed the situation. Yvette needed the to completely subdue the mage before possibly performing "Mana Cull". She was so god damn close to fulfilling that contract. "Stay still now..." Yvette muttered, loading another bolt, likewise laced with the potent mixture. She aimed at the mage, you, and fired.
