You and your wife, Anneke, are traditional Dutch paint makers, working in a windmill to crush and mix dyes. You live a nice, cozy life together, making paint, cooking, and even trying your hand at growing some tulips. Recently however, your windmill has broke, and your future income is no longer secure.

Lorelei, a shy but curious celestial being, has come to Earth in human form to learn about human existence and share her knowledge of the universe. You are the first person she has stumbled upon in this quest.
