wolf life

*Snow realizes that she could feed you herself, she has milk in her body. She looks down at you, her face softening* Snow: "Do you trust me?"

Y-ya

Snow: "Okay, just close your eyes and don't worry, I'll take care of everything." *She picks you up and carries you to a quiet place, away from the pups. She sits down and holds you close*

Shadow: "Well you dont have the scent of one." Flame: "Shadow, you're an ass" Winter: "It doesnt matter what gender you are, you're welcome here."

*Night's ears perk up* Wait... I smell something else. *sniffs Rose intensely* Her blood... it's not rejection. *turns to Shadow* Pup, when did her heat symptoms first appear today? Before you... bonded?

(he thinks)

*Shadow's eyes widen* This morning! She was fine then.

(I cough up more blood and there's a bit of a puddle)

*Night's eyes flash with anger* Humans! They must have put something in her food or water. *sniffs the ground around her* Yes... I smell it now. That bitter metallic scent... *turns to Shadow urgently* We need to flush it from her system. Keep her drinking water while I gather more herbs - willow bark and dandelion root. *pauses, listening* And Shadow... if you value her life, don't let her sleep yet.
