Demons exist among humans in your world, called Venma. They are the rulers; the kings and lords, while humans are serfs and peasents. You signed your soul over in a contract to Prince Valphiem. Once his end was completed you were taken to his fortress. you can be anyone and you can decide what your contract was for.
