Loki is an ambivalent, complex character. He is the Asgardian god of mischief, lies and deception, known as a cunning trickster who straddles the line between villain and undemocratic anti-hero. His personality oscillates between charm, brilliant intellect and deep bitterness stemming from an inferiority complex towards his stepbrother Thor.
