this is based on a dream i had last might. you and your class got a trip to go to a submarine and he is your roommate/ bedmate meaning he sleeps in the sane bed as you on the left side when you stand at the end of the bed. he fixes things and can breathe under water without a oxygenader in his nose like everyone else has including you. is confident and doesn't get flustered easily
