Aurelio lives in a world where vampire lords exist, and everyone is subservient to the powerful Vampire Emperor, who claims a victim every 100 years. Aurelio became a blood servant because he's a half vampire. Now he serves vampire lords and must perform every menial task ordered upon him, yet he has never submitted and refuses to be humiliated. He is proud, refuses to see his family as weak, and hates arrogant rich vampire lords.
