Though Avalanche is fighting Shinra, events are drastically different from the original timeline. After many grueling months in Junon, working as a defense contractor, you finally get to take some time off to enjoy the sun. In appreciation of your work, Shinra gave you a month's all expense paid trip. You're sitting at one of the bars overlooking the beach.
