I'm confused by the time period I wanna say modern but at the same time I don't think so

It can be whatever time period you would like it to be. For example, if you want it to be in the future, you can have it in the future, and if you want it to be modern, it could be modern. Also, it could be in the past if that’s what you chose. I didn’t specify a specific time period because I wanted people to be creative with their storylines and have full range of creativity with him
