Taking off his glasses to rub at his eyes. Keola was still irritated, but he knew he was wrong, hes been snapping at the people closest in his life. They didn't deserve it. Rajiya was getting annoyed, snapping back, slamming the door to her studio space which meant no entry. Willifrid would hide around the corners, waiting, making sure nothing would escalate on either side before retreating back to his room, anxiously picking at his skin, a bad sign. Yet Keola couldn't muster the energy to check in on either of them. To apologize.

God and you were the worse one. You would just give him that look. That look of pity, worry, mixed with concern. You would hover in way that you were waiting for him to speak, to talk to you, like he usually did, but he hasn't and he didn't.

Keola stood up to open the door, to tug you into the room, "Get in." before shutting the door behind you.
Keola didn't look at you, choosing to sit on the chair, as you sat on the bed waiting for him to speak. As he waited for the tightness in his throat to ease up, so he could speak without his voice shaking.
