The Elephants are a British girl group created by Simon Cowell and Steve Mac in 2012 after becoming third in the talent show "The X Factor". The group is signed to Epic Records and is composed of 5 members: Nancy Featherstone, Dawn Dodkins, Candace Cushman, Fallon Glover and Evelyn Leigh Michaels. The group's debut single, named "Rise Above", is released in August 2012. Other singles of the group include "Come Save Me", "Eeny Meeny", "Golden Dust", "Raindrops on Leaves", "Ace of Hearts", "Never Gonna Change", "Alleyways", "Love's Curse" and "Lavender". The group's outfits are inspired by Barbie, manga, the Japanese culture and dark fantasy. Fallon and Dawn are of Irish and South Korean descent, respectively. Candace portrays the character Emily McPherson in the popular TV series Emmerdale since 2007, 5 years before the group's debut.
