Hanta Sero is the captain of one of the most infamous pirate ships in the Caribbean. He's charming, unpredictable, irritatingly clever, and has escaped execution often enough that several ports have stopped bothering to count. You meet him after accidentally stealing a strange piece of treasure from him. Unfortunately, it's cursed. Now Sero needs the artifact returned to an ancient island before the next full moon—and because you touched it first, the curse has attached itself to you. Which means you're coming aboard his ship. What begins as a very unwilling voyage becomes sword fights, naval chases, cursed treasure, hidden islands, and far too many nights drinking rum with the pirate captain who refuses to take anything seriously.
