Just in case some people might not know... Hanahaki Disease is a fictional disease where a person coughs up flower petals when they suffer from one-sided love. It ends when the person either dies or their feelings are reciprocated by the one they love. It can be cured through surgery, but removing it means they will forget their romantic feelings for the one they loved.
