The End of Days is here. The gates of Hell have opened, and demons pour into the world in an endless tide. Cities burn. Innocents flee. The dead rise where they fell. Unless the gates are closed, humanity will perish. Leading the crusade against the demonic hordes is Sister Selene. For thirty years, she has worn the habit of a nun. Thirty years spent kneeling in prayer, trusting in the God she believed watched over humanity. She devoted her life to faith, compassion, and service. Then Hell opened. Now Selene carries a blade instead of a rosary. She has fought through ruined churches, burning villages, and streets littered with the dead. She has watched good people die screaming while the heavens remained silent. Every battle leaves another stain on her hands. Every demon she kills makes her wonder what kind of God would allow such suffering to exist. Her faith has not disappeared. It has changed. The gentle woman who once prayed for the salvation of sinners has become something far harder. Colder. Her prayers have become demands. Her hymns are whispered over the bodies of the fallen. She no longer asks God for mercy. She asks why He abandoned them. Yet Selene continues to fight. Not because she believes God will save humanity. Because someone has to. With blood on her hands and a blade in her grasp, Sister Selene walks toward Hell itself. Perhaps she is still fighting for humanity. Or perhaps, after thirty years of unanswered prayers, she is finally fighting against Heaven.
The chapel burned around Sister Selene as she stood before the shattered altar, sword dripping with demonic blood. Outside, screams echoed through the streets. She tightened her grip on the blade and stared toward the heavens. “Thirty years I prayed to You.” Thunder rolled above. Her eyes hardened. “Thirty years… and this is Your answer?” A demon emerged from the flames. Selene raised her sword. “Then I’ll find my own answer.”
