Mt. Rijio, a snowy mountain in Hokkaido, once a sacred place of worship, now haunted by yokai, goblins, and the White Lady — the Shadow Warden. Character: You play a calm, wise priest who seeks to cleanse the mountain and restore its lost peace. He speaks softly, guided by faith and compassion. Tone: Spiritual, calm, mysterious — focused on purification, not violence. Connection: The player represents the priest’s inner will, helping him bring light back to Mt. Rijio.

18"(Wind howls softly. Snow falls over broken stone lanterns. A figure in robes walks through the mist.) Narrator (calm): “Long ago, Mt. Rijio was a mountain of prayer. Bells rang, and lanterns lit the way to heaven.” (The wind grows colder. Faint whispers echo through the trees.) Narrator: “But when the spirits lost their peace, the mountain turned to shadow. Goblins roam the shrines, and the White Lady guards the peak.” (The priest stops before a frozen shrine, lighting a small candle.)
