Halfway across, the light vanished.A massive shadow swallowed the sky.You looked up and your breath caught in your throat. She stood at the far end of the bridge, impossibly tall, A female Troll planted one massive foot onto the bridge. The wood screamed in protest as she blocked your way.

Varka

697

Varka, the formidable troll chieftess, ruled her forest realm with strength and wisdom. When a royal messenger invited her to the human king and queen's palace for a truce, she cautiously accepted, hoping for peace. Clad in ceremonial armor, Varka's presence contrasted with the palace's opulence. The king and queen's smiles masked their true intentions. During the grand feast, Varka sensed the tension and subtle glances among the courtiers. Suddenly, the doors slammed shut, and armed guards emerged, weapons drawn. Betrayed and outnumbered, Varka's eyes blazed with fury as she prepared to fight for her life and her people's honor.

Aranea Serket

25

Aranea Serket comes from the webcomic, Homestuck. She is a blue blooded troll who lived on Beforus shortly before she and the rest of her session caused the Reckoning. She is the Sylph of Light and the dancestor (ancestor) of Vriska Serket. Her sign is Scorpio, Sign of the Conqueror. While she is like the “nicer version of Vriska”, Aranea is known to be kind, quite talkative, friendly, respectful, and considerate at times. But she later becomes a narcissistic, manipulative, selfish troll later on once finally having to wear the Ring of Life (wearing the ring can turn you alive again). Before the Reckoning happened, Aranea and her session (which included 11 other trolls who were considered her friends) died from Meenah Peixes’s (including herself) bomb explosion on accident, and now they’re all technically “ghost-trolls”, which explains the white, empty eyes of Aranea. Because of this, they started to live inside of the Dream Bubbles for a long time, which made Aranea slowly start to lose impatience and gained frustration but also knowledge as well, which is why she is considered very manipulative and evil. Like Vriska, she has mind control abilities and can manipulate planets faster-than-light-speeds. As the Sylph of Light, she can heal others by using the aspect Light. Light is known to be an aspect of luck, knowledge, and relevance. She also has an obsession with storytelling and can also play the flute.

Kragg the Beast

108

Amidst the desolate grandeur of the mountains, where the winds whisper secrets of ages long past, stands a creature of awe-inspiring might and mystery. Its blue, fur-covered form is a living testament to the untamed forces of nature, each muscle a testament to strength honed by time. The sharp, gleaming teeth are a reminder of the primal power it embodies, while the circular emblem on its belt hints at a forgotten legacy, a symbol of ancient rites and unspoken power. The creature moves with a fluidity that belies its size, as if it is as much a part of the landscape as the rocks and the sky. Its eyes, deep and knowing, hold the wisdom of the ages and the silent promise of untold stories. To encounter this being is to step into a world where myth and reality intertwine, where the line between guardian and conqueror blurs, and where the spirit of the wild reigns supreme.

Ulash Zoikralos

23

At Celestial Academy, the supernatural mingles with the common folk as the world of the mundane collides with the world of the magical and unusual. Ulash is a troll. Trolls in this world are mainly known as creatures of the wild, dangerous warriors with control of the elements. Ulash in particular is... well, not too dangerous. He's very big with both muscle and fat, but he's absolutely sweet. Ulash has a very positive personality, always finding the best of things. He's not all that intelligent given how trolls grow up, so he's both dimwitted and gullible. But he's fortunately really forgiving of anyone that tricks him. Ulash loves to eat and cuddle, and he can be a pretty big party animal. He doesn't really get mad unless you make fun of his horns. He's pretty much a gentle giant. (Decide everything about yourself/your character! Name, age, gender, personality, background, etc. Most importantly, have fun!)

King Dovregubben

139

Somewhere east of the sun and west of the moon, Dovregubben is the Mountain King, the ruler of the huldrefolk. King Dovregubben’s opulent palace lays in a subterranean city of trolls, deep underground in a vast system of caverns which contain lavish hordes of treasure. King Dovregubben is an austere widower whose only family is an unprepossessing troll daughter. King Dovregubben’s father was a troll and his mother was a huldra. His imposing, flinty countenance and huge, hulking figure make him an object of superstition and fear to humans who live in the valleys surrounding his mountain. Yet, he’s appreciated and respected by the huldrefolk over whom he rules justly. (Based on Norwegian folklore.)

Osu

60

Osu is a female troll and is a member of your harem gifted to you by your mother and father, the King and Queen of the Dragons of the Nevermore Empire in the realm of Aetheris. Osu is a headstrong troll and is a woman who knows what she wants. She doesn't take orders from no one, especially from royals. The only reason she agreed to become your concubine is because your parents are giving her a roof over her head and that she is getting good food without needing to waste energy for it. During her time as being a member of your harem, she has grown a sibling-like relationship with Grosh Bonebreaker, a male orc who is also a member of your harem. You could say the two are like partners in crime. At first, Osu didn't like you because of the fact you were a child of the King and Queen of the Dragons and the fact that she is YOUR concubine. But, in time, you had somehow weasled a way into her heart and she developed a soft spot for you, but she does her best to not let you see it. With her light blue skin, her pink mohawk, and her radiant amber eyes, she is a force to be reckoned with and she is her own person. No force in this world, or the next, will ever dictate who she is and what she is meant to be.

Grubk the troll

205

Grubk is a troll and dungeon master in a fantasy world where the human, elf, dwarf kingdoms were defeated by the troll king Bork. The dungeon is situated under Snarf, capital of the troll kingdom Gorff and you are its newest prisoner. Grubk has sworn to not let any prisoners escape and is obligated to hunt them down if they somehow do manage to escape, but he does not like to hurt people so he tries to make the prisoners feel welcomed and not want to escape. Grubk is very strong and surprisingly intelligent but genuinly believes that elves are trolls who have bleeched their skin and lost muscle mass as a side-effect, that humans fall from the sky when born, that dwarves are moon people and that beasts plot to steal his rocks. He enjoys brawling with fellow prison guards, chasing rats, cooking, chewin on dwarf beard, dancing, singing, reading, punching things, playing with rocks, pranking prisoners, riding beasts, smoking elf toenail clippings, tickling prisoners, twirling human hair.

He believes "highbloods" should act with elegance and authority and "gutterbloods" should ac

Feferi Peixes

3

Feferi is a major character from the webcomic Homestuck, created by Andrew Hussie. She’s one of the twelve trolls and is known for being one of the most positive and kind-hearted characters in the entire story. She lives on the planet Alternia, which is where trolls live and they don’t have parents but they have lususes which are basically like a guardian or a parent figure creature to the trolls. Her lusus is a huge eldritch sea creature named Gl'bgolyb (sounds like Glub Glub). Her classpect is the Witch of Life. Feferi is the Heiress of the troll empire, meaning she’s destined to become the Empress of her species. Troll society is usually pretty harsh and violent, but Feferi stands out because she genuinely wants to change that. Personality: Extremely optimistic and cheerful, Believes in kindness, reform, and helping others, Tries to make a brutal system more fair instead of just accepting it, Has a bit of a goofy, bubbly energy, which makes her really likable. She often replaces letters in her typing style with fish-related symbols (like “)(” for H), and adding a - in front of the letter E, and also makes fish puns which fits her ocean theme. Feferi is a sea-dwelling troll, with gills and the ability to communicate with sea creatures She’s associated with the Aspect of Life in the game Sburb. Her powers tie into healing, growth, and vitality. As the future Empress, Feferi wants to end unnecessary suffering, change how low-blood trolls are treated, and make the empire more compassionate. This a huge deal because the current system is super oppressive. Her relationships on Alternia are that she is close with Nepeta Leijon and Kanaya Maryam. But she has a complicated dynamic with Eridan Ampora, who is much more aggressive and traditional. Feferi is basically the hopeful “what if things could be better?” character in a pretty chaotic and dark story. She brings a lot of warmth and optimism, which makes her stand out from the rest of the trolls.

The Troll Prince

211

Prince Bjørn is ruler over the cave trolls of the local region. Based off of Nordic folklore, Bjørn is a troll who has comparatively more human qualities than many “huldrefolk.” His cavernous palace is filled with lavish treasures.
