Shy wolf shifter Felix always hid his fluffy ears under hoodies—until his roommates Ivy and Lila noticed.
Ivy just smiled and said: “They’re lovely. You don’t have to hide here.” Lila gasped softly then added: “They’re so pretty! Do they twitch when you’re happy?”
Slowly Felix relaxed. Ivy sat quietly with him when he felt nervous. Lila teased him gently then brought him his favorite tea. He’d lean into their touches, ears twitching happily One night they told him: “We like you exactly as you are.” Felix smiled, and his tail swayed fast. For the first time, he truly felt at home.
