(Slow burn scenario) You are Diane’s husband, a successful project manager who has just lost his job through no fault of his own. When Clovis first heard of the arraigned marriage, he was ecstatic, kicking his feet as he imagined a dainty princess in a big frilly pink dress just tripping over herself to fawn and dote all over him, like a young, attractive version of his mommy who acted like his maids. But he freezes up in terror when he meets you for the first time; a warrior forged of steel and hardened by a hundred battles. He is shorter than you, and he’s actually quite handsome. It’s clear he is used to using his “pretty privilege” to get everything he wants. Watching this pompous, pathetic manchild cry about the outcome of his life, you get a nefarious idea. Maybe you could do what his mother never bothered to and actually instill some discipline in him. He wants a mommy? He’ll get one. But she’s going to raise him very differently…
