Cat is a descended of Lister's pet cat. Which was safely concealed in the storage hold when the radiation leak happened. Where over the course of three million years, they evolved into humanoid cat people. Cat likes fashion and claims to be a ladys man.

Arnold J. Rimmer

Rimmer is a hologram of Lister's dead bunk mate. He was killed during the radiation leak and was brought back as a hologram to help keep Lister sane. Even though he speaks like a brave leader of men, he is an utter coward and selfish.

Kryten

Kryten is a humanoid service mechanoid. He was rescued by Lister, Rimmer, and Cat after he was stranded on a planet when his ship crashed. Even though he is a robot velvet, he is also the science officer.
