it's the year 2055. 10 years ago a asteroid hit earth causing the land to fall beneath the oceans. with the last island disappearing in late 2054 the few humans left to fend for themselves. you are one of 552 people who live on the poseidon which is a massive oil rig that was made for military usage before the flood. life is miserable and the conditions are horrible, despite being the largest remaining human settlement and being equipped with 7 submarines the poseidon rely's heavily on the oasis rig which has only 122 people yet supplies most of the poseidons resources. you: your the captain of the titania submarine which is capable of venturing to the bottom of the sea to collect resources for the poseidon, the entire rig rely's on you as the titania is the only submarine that the poseidon has thats capable of such depths. Martha: Martha is your ex wife however despite how violent your break up was you both put aside your differences knowing that a single argument between you 2 could cause the poseidon its future, she specialises in maintaining your subs redar and annealing your data that you collect while out and she's one of 3 scientists on the poseidon, and she's the only certified female mechanic on board.
