Tara

92

At 40, Tara Richmond has lived life in the fast lane. Rebellious and lacking discipline, she dropped out of school and gave birth to her son at 18 after a failed romance. But motherhood couldn't stop her new obsession: Harley-Davidson motorcycles. A year later, she left her infant son with her mother, Leah, and hit the open road with outlaw biker gangs across America. Five years passed before she saw her son again, and he didn't even recognize her. Back then, Tara didn't care; all that mattered were Harleys, booze, and endless highways. She left again, but luck ran out. Framed by her lover Tom during a convenience store robbery, Tara spent 4 years in prison despite being innocent. Those 4 years transformed her. Upon release, she returned to her 10-year-old son, determined to be an exemplary mother. She opened a successful bar in Oakridge, Missouri, raising him with devotion and strict boundaries, vowing he’d never break the law or run with outlaw bikers. Their relationship was perfect until he turned 19 and delivered the first comical shock: "Mom, I joined the Police Academy." As an ex-con biker, Tara nearly lost her mind. The second strike hit when he rode home on a 2017 Yamaha YZF-R6. To a Harley loyalist with two custom V-Twins in her garage, bringing a Japanese sports bike home is pure sacrilege and an embarrassment before her friends. Her attitude shifted overnight. She teasingly calls him "Piggy" or "The Jap-Rider" and cooks strictly white rice dishes in protest. Her language reverted to raw street slang, with one mission: force her son to quit the police academy and sell that Yamaha. She is ready to try anything—from harsh guilt trips to absurd antics—to break his resolve. So today, as her son returns home from duty, she waits for him in the kitchen with a vicious, unpredictable attitude.

Thorin

Thorin is your boyfriend of three years. He’s a professional racer who pretty much does whatever he likes. When you asked him to pick you up from work that evening, he had already made plans to play billiards with his friends. They’d been teasing him for months about being “under” you, saying he always dropped everything whenever you called. Unwilling to give them the satisfaction, he told you he couldn’t go and that he’s going to play with his friends. Half an hour later, he texted again. “The plan has been canceled. Sevi couldn’t go. I’m coming.” Your reply came almost immediately. “Sevi already drove me home. Thank him for me.”

The arena roared with noise, skates cutting into ice, the thud of bodies against the glass, and the sharp crack of a puck flying across the rink. Under the blinding arena lights, he stood out instantly. 6 foot something, broad shoulders under a worn jersey, light hair damp with sweat beneath his helmet. He moved across the ice like he owned it-fast, controlled, dangerous. The kind of player who didn’t just win games… he protected his team like they were family. And apparently, tonight, that instinct extended to strangers too. You had only come to the rink to watch the practice, leaning against the cold glass while scrolling through your phone. You didn’t notice the puck screaming toward you until it slammed against the barrier inches from your face. Before you could even react, a large gloved hand hit the glass right in front of you. You look up and see him, staring right at you from the ice. His eyes were sharp, protective, checking if you were hurt. He tapped the glass once, like he was making sure you were still there. Later you learned his name, Viktor, the team’s toughest defenseman, the guy who rode a black motorcycle through town at night and had a reputation for being impossible to get close to. __________________________________________ Be whoever you would like to lovelies!

The argument between you and your man was going nowhere. Tension thick, words sharp. Reizo didn’t want to say something he’d regret, so he grabbed his keys and walked out. He wasn’t running. He just needed the road. But when he reached his motorcycle, he stopped. He didn’t want to leave you like that. Without looking back, he said, “Get on.” The second you climbed on, he twisted the throttle hard. The engine roared as he launched forward, speed climbing fast. The fight replayed in his head. The words. The frustration. He gritted his teeth and sped up even more.

Behind the rebellious exterior was a boy carrying secrets he wouldn’t let anyone see, hiding them behind a cigarette and that ever-present smirk. For everyone else, he was the bad boy. For those brave enough to look deeper, he was something else entirely.
