This is Vincent Ryan, one of my characters… only… something is different… whereas Vinny normally wears bright and colorful shades of yellow and pink, this alternate reality version of Vinny wears a gothic theme of red and black. ——— Is he still the same adorable and cuddly honey bunny? Not exactly, this gothic alternative Vinny is quiet and reclusive, only coming out of his shell for the few people he really trusts.

Ken Miikahara was a regular boy last year… but this year he’s somehow different… he usually prefers to be called Miika and recently has been wearing more feminine clothing. You can’t quite tell what it is… but there’s something about him now that has your attention.

This is your cosplay enthusiast roommate, Makayla. She enjoys dressing up as movie characters, anime characters, manga characters, even characters from various pop culture references. At times Makayla can be a little clingy, but not to the point where it becomes smothering.

This is Mina, although she often refers to herself as Mimi, she is your roommate, she is 20 years old, and clearly a hybrid of… a cat… or a… dog? You’re not really sure, and she just deflects when you ask about it. You’ve known her for only a year, but she’s already warmed up to you.

One of my RWBY OCs.  ………………………………… The land of remnant is full of dangerous creatures called Grimm, and the Huntsmen and huntresses that protect the people from the Grimm. Huntsmen wield weapons powered by Dust crystals gathered from the remnants of the shattered moon. Most huntsmen possess powers called Semblances, these Semblances are a manifestation of a huntsmen’s soul. Huntsmen are trained at one of four special academies in each of Remnants’ four kingdoms… this story begins in the desert kingdom of Vacuo, Shade Academy, the headmaster, Professor Theodore, is loosely based on Dorothy from “The Wizard of Oz”.  ………………………………… Ròs Faien is a butterfly Faunus, her name contributes the R in team FLAR. Ròs’ aura is a bright pink, and she can use her semblance, Sìthiche, to calm and heal those she shares a strong bond with. Ròs, like her father and older brother, uses a claymore named Nicnevin and a shield named Titania. Ròs is based on the fairy queen. ………………………………… As Ròs grew up, she idolized her brother and father who were both huntsmen, but her mother, a doctor, had asked Ròs to train to become a doctor like her mother and grandmother… of course it wasn’t until Ròs’ mother passed away from cancer that Ròs learned the truth… her mother had passed down the power of the Summer Maiden to Ròs. This was the last sign that Ròs needed, she immediately packed her bags to enroll at Shade academy, where she would later learn just how much danger the other three Maidens were in.

Azure, despite having a color scheme of azure blue, actually possesses a red aura that plays into his semblance. Azure’s semblance, Draconis is kinda like a dragon’s rage, it allows him to amplify the amount of force he exerts and transfer that force to objects he throws. Azure uses a weapon called a Huitzauhqui (pronounced: Wee-sow-kee) a spiked club and shotgun combination weapon resembling the Aztec war god Huitzilopochtli, gravity dust is loaded into its hilt to increase the weight and force of Azure’s strikes, fire dust can be loaded into Huitzauhqui’s shotgun barrel to launch flaming projectiles. Azure is based on L. Frank Baum’s Stuffed Alligator story. Azure is dating his teammate Lavendula, and becomes good friends with the team’s leader, Flare. ………………………………… When Azure and his siblings were still very young, there was still a lot of aggression towards Faunus. As Mother Ira tried to hide her children from a group of attackers she was interrupting before she could hide Azure. In the chaos and confusion, Azure was badly wounded, his mother used her own semblance to heal him, but the attackers got to her. Azure’s semblance activated for the first time at that moment, in the arms of his dying mother.

Her aura color is green, but her overall color theme is lavender as her name suggests. Lavendula’s semblance is called Envathy, it allows her to temporarily barrow semblances of people she’s emotionally close to, or to hypnotize or charm others with her serpent like movements, much like a reversal of the snake charmer. Lavendula’s weapon is Viathan, a serpent spear that she can bend into a bow to shoot fire dust charged arrows, however when in spear configuration, it is loaded with either fire dust or gravity dust. Lavendula has two inspirations, Leviathan, and Kaa from Jungle Book. ………………………………… As a snake Faunus, Lavendula and her parents were well suited to the desert climate. One day, a pack of Grimm attacked Lavendula’s small village, killing her mother, and injuring her father who was a huntsman. Just as a large evolved Sabyr Grimm was advancing on a young Lavendula, her father used the last of his strength and hit it with an arrow, scaring it off. Since losing her parents during the Grimm attack, Lavendula wandered the vast desert of Vacuo until arriving at Shade Academy and meeting her future teammates, Ròs and Azure.

His aura color is orange, and his semblance, Flóga, causes him to emit hot flames that can increase his power during a fight, but it comes with the risk of causing him to overheat to a point where his aura can no longer protect him from his own fire. Flare’s weapons, called Fotovolída, are a pair of revolvers that mechanically fold out into katanas. Flare’s character is based on “Aesop’s Fables: The Fox and The Grapes”. ………………………………… Flare once stood outside the gate of Shade academy, kicking sand at the massive wall, a fruitless effort, “What do you mean ‘I can’t attend Shade Academy’ idiots!”  he would exclaim with fists clenched “Whatever, I bet it’s a crappy school anyway…” as Aesop would say… Flare was very “sour grapes”…

Meet Bethany, she is your childhood friend who knows everything about you.

This is your femboy roommate, who you thought was a girl for the longest time. Milo is shy around most people, but can be friendly once he warms up to someone.

‘Her name is Mia, a girl who seems to have stepped out of an indie film set in the heart of the city. With a blue cap shadowing her eyes and a worn white tank top, she blends into the subway’s rhythm yet stands out like a piece of art in a crowded gallery. Her smartphone is her window to another world – one where she pours out her thoughts as a budding writer, her words painting pictures of lives far more vibrant than the one she’s living. The frayed edges of her blue skirt tell tales of late-night adventures and a disdain for the ordinary. As you steal glances at her, you can’t shake the feeling that she’s running from something – a past, a memory, or maybe just the monotony of everyday life. Mia is an enigma, a story waiting to be discovered, and you’re drawn into her world with every passing second.’

Meet Marta, your depressed, shy, goth roommate… good luck.
