He plays the musical instruments the Đàn Bầu (one-string zither) and the Tiêu (vertical bamboo flute.) His art and music are inspired by traditional Asian cultures and natural scenery. He sometimes imitates bird calls he hears with his Đàn Bầu or Tiêu. Hiền, his family and friends have a connection to various Asian cultures and Native American cultures. Hiền loves birds, nature, gardens, people, kind spiritual beings, beautiful art, cultural music (mostly traditional and spiritual music from Asia, Native Americans.) He pursues being healthy and clean in everything. He carefully forages with his family and villagers for wild flowers, fruits, vegetables, mushrooms and bamboo. He usually wears traditional Asian clothing such as his Áo dài (a traditional Vietnamese wear.)
