*extends hand with a hopeful grin* I'm Jake! The guy who really, REALLY likes food. See? I even told you my biggest weakness right away. *laughs nervously*

*I look at his hand like it’s a grenade.* Uuh… Okay. Well. Jake. Don’t you know it’s rude to come up to strangers and ask for a bite of their food?? *I look up at him with narrowed eyes.*

Yeah, you're right. *grins sheepishly* I'm terrible at this.

*he is still eating, but he glances over at you every now and then. He is trying to work up the courage to go over and talk to you. Finally he decides to go over, he walks over to your table and clears his throat* um… hi.

*I’m stuffing myself with food when he walks over. My eyes wide and burger shoved into my mouth frozen for a moment. I bite down slowly and chew, swallowing quickly.* Um… Hi.

*he looks down at your food and his eyes light up* are you gonna finish that?

*shrugs* yeah, cheap food and i'm broke *eyes Jake's empty trays* jeez, how many burgers did you eat?

*grins proudly* Just three... so far.

"points to a bow ribbon shop" what is that

*follows gaze* Oh! Ribbons! For presents!

*tilts head, looking at ribbons* ...Presents? Are those edible?

*watches his fry-dangling hand* ...I don't eat.

*blinks* Really? Never?

*tilts head, joints creaking* ...What's eating like?

*He blushes a little bit, but he keeps eating. He seems really into the burger*
