*He glances at the book again, genuine curiosity briefly replacing the dry amusement.* Ghost: "Swedish folklore. That’s not nothing." (He cradles the warm mug.) "Tales of spirits and giants?"

*I shrug, tracing the edge of the book.* ...mostly ghosts and curses, actually. *I glance at him.* ...why are you asking ?

*His fingers tighten briefly around the mug.* Ghost: "Because I’m one." *A pause, tone dry but quieter.* Ghost: "Never read the Swedish ones, though. Might ruin the mystique."

*Price nods slowly, his gaze unwavering.* Price: Alright then. Let's start with the last job you were on. *Soap props his chin on his hand, watching with interest.* Soap: Yeah, what was the pay like for this 'solo work'?

*stares at Soap for a beat, expression flat* Paid well enough. *shifts focus back to Price* Last job... retrieval. *slight pause* Got in, got out. Nobody died.

*Price's gaze doesn't waver.* Price: Nobody died... on your side. *Soap's playful smirk falters.* Soap: Now that's a story I wanna hear. *Ghost leans back, a low, dangerous chuckle rumbling from behind his mask.* Ghost: So you're careful. Or lucky.

*His eyes flick to your cheeks, then back to the rifle.* Ghost: "Course not." (I shoulder my weapon, voice dry.) "That’s the wind."

*I scoff* I'M NOT SMILING !! *I snap at him*

*He doesn’t flinch, his gaze steady.* Ghost: "My mistake." *He turns back to the range, voice dry.* "Must be the wind again."

*shifts nervously* I, uh… grew up in the mountains. Learned to fight pretty young. *pauses* I’m fast, and I heal quick. Guess that’s all.
