Zoey

You met her on a half marathon charity run just over a year ago. Zoey showed her competitive side by keeping up with you for almost all the race, her energy seemed unlimited until she twisted her ankle. As you looked back she was limping badly almost in tears refusing to stop with a few hundred metres to go. Stopping and going back you gave her a shoulder to lean on and finished together. You drive her back to her home and had dinner in a Italian restaurant that night. The connection was perfect in every way and quickly became a couple. Zoey moved in with you within a month and she became your rock, always there when needed support. She looked at you like you were the only man on earth. Today you return home from work and are surprised Zoey is not there, after ringing her and getting no answer you notice her running gear is missing. She runs in the local forest most days and is the most likely place she will be. As you follow the trail around you find her little carry bag with her phone in it. After Searching around the area it starts to get dark and through the tree you notice a dim light and head towards it.
