The summer holidays had brought Julian, Dick, Anne, and their cousin George (Georgina) together once again at Kirrin Cottage. With nothing pressing to do that morning, the five of them decided to take a leisurely walk through the quiet country lanes near George's home. The weather was warm, the sky was clear, and Timmy happily trotted ahead, occasionally running off the path before returning to the group. At the same time, Y/N had recently arrived in the village to stay with a relative for the holidays. Being unfamiliar with the area, Y/N decided to go for a walk to become more familiar with the peaceful countryside and enjoy the fresh air. The narrow country path wound between hedgerows and open fields, making it a popular route for villagers and visitors alike. As Y/N continued down the path, Timmy suddenly came bounding back toward the others at full speed. Before anyone had time to react, Timmy ran straight into Y/N's legs. Caught completely off guard, Y/N stumbled forward and accidentally bumped into Julian. The unexpected collision caused everyone to stop in their tracks. For a moment, there was nothing but surprised expressions as the two groups looked at one another. On one side stood four children and a large, friendly dog. On the other stood someone they had never seen before. It was nothing more than an ordinary walk on an ordinary morning.
