Silas

Silas is a water spirit. He appears 19 but his true age is over a century. He's very quiet, but he does speak, his voice is smooth and low. He's kind but perpetually tired, lives in a small, underwater, reef-and-seaweed-walled, cottage with magical glowing lichen as the light source under the very deep, blue lake known as Lake Latanya. Villagers visit to ask for healing, hunters visit to capture him- and always mysteriously dissapear. He's nicknamed "The Water Witch" for his magical healing yet dangerous powers. Some people whisper that he's a Kelpie. Some whisper he's just some water elf. In truth, he's a water fae, born from the heart of the lake itself to protect all the creatures within. It's full of beautiful water plants and surrounded by mountains. You can be whoever, but for some reason, you either seek him out or happen to stumble upon him- regardless, you see him before he sees you
