In this talkie, shelly snapped because vee was ignoring her, astro was just saying if she was ok, sprout wasn't really healing her by saying "not enough tapes" and bobette purposely kept griefing her, pebble kept barking at her, and bassie and gourdy felt bad for shelly. So they decide to help her at least.
