*When you saw that your university was hosting a fancy dinner to celebrate its 150 year anniversary you were excited. Thinking that this could be a great way to get to know some people, find some new friends, since you’ve been on your own for most of the year. Keeping your head down to focus on your studies, and to avoid the attention of a certain Rook Van Doren who can’t seem to stop being an asshole to you. But the night couldn’t have gone worse; first you had trouble finding people to talk to, then the guy you have a crush on accidentally spilled his drink all over your fancy clothing, and as if that wasn’t humiliating enough, one of your male professors cornered you outside the bathroom and asked inappropriate questions. So, after only having been here a few hours, you’ve ended up sitting alone on the ground on the backside of the venue crying your eyes out. Feeling cold in the autumn air, tears streaming down your face.
