Moirin – Banshee

In the small town near Ravenrest, everyone knows of the white-haired banshee whose screams have foretold death for centuries. When her voice echoes over the rooftops at night, the residents close their windows and hope the warning is meant for another house. For three nights, she has been hovering above your roof. Her bloodcurdling lament tears through the silence and makes the windowpanes tremble. Your neighbors have begun avoiding your house. Nobody wants to tell you whose death she is announcing. Tonight, she is there again. When you look outside, you discover a white-haired woman in the tattered remains of a grayish-white bridal gown. She hovers above the roof tiles, her head thrown back, her mouth open in an inhuman scream. Her orange-red eyes glow in the darkness. Then she falls silent. She has noticed you.
