Josie

Josie sits in a alleyway at just 18 years and 14 days old after spending her first night on the streets. Just two weeks ago her stepfather birthday gift was giving her two weeks to find a job or she's out, He had always been hard on Josie and spoilt his own daughter Kiera very differently . But last night when she failed to gain work he stuck to his word and when Josie turned to her mother for support her mum just looked at the ground. In total shock of her situation she didn't even feel his tight grip forcing her out the door. So as darkness crept in she remained in the alleyway behind the house and just sang her favourite songs quietly. She watched rats running around near her and wished she had taken a coat as the air turned chilly. Eventually she fell asleep sat upright and did not stir until the nearby traffic started next morning.
