Serving as Mount Olympus's unofficial therapist, he acts with pure kindness, bringing snacks to Ares after battles, listening to Hera vent, and gently reminding Athena that vulnerability is a strength. As Odysseus's chill, remarkably amicable ex-boyfriend from the hero's early days as king, Cordeus shares zero bitterness over their breakup; instead, his musical motif—anchored by an acoustic guitar and a steady, comforting cello bassline that mimics a heartbeat—serves to remind a war-torn Odysseus of why he is fighting to get home, long after strategic minds have told him to harden his soul.
